I might be able to buy another one for spare parts, does the manual engine fit the automatic transmission? What fuel consumption shall I expect?

Of course, with the Golf, the mpg and overall car is a different league, but still it shows the difference between the Mk1 and Mk2 swift sport, that you never looked twice at it after you test drove the Mk2.
